Hostess with the mostess?... I will gladly self nominate myself {lol}
I absolutely love entertaining , it’s so fun to come up with themes for birthdays or just for anytime of the year. We live in a small condo, so space is pretty restricted, but I don’t think your space or lack thereof should limit your creativity and fun.
I really enjoy DIY projects especially when I can save money and get the satisfaction of knowing I’ve created something all by myself. There are so many ways to save money on party decorations, just Google DIY party décor and you will be inundated with tons of blogs just dedicated to saving money and diys.
I recently hosted a “ladies night in” and a few weeks later my Husband’s birthday and wanted to share some photos
with you.
My Husband loves Disc Golf so for his birthday he and all his friends spent the day traversing the city and its various disc golf courses . I wanted to have his favorite foods along with a cake ready by the time they came back.
So, a few balloons and a crap load of tin foil later this is what I came up with…
I decided to dress the table with this funny picture of Zach Galifianakis and these old school mountain dew bottles I found at the grocery store all atop of my husband's Navy year book.

At the moment I am obsessed with pendant style banners, so I made this one with black construction paper and good ole` fashion Microsoft word lol
|
I had a spur of the moment idea to somehow make a cake look like a disc golf basket, this is my ratchet version {NOTE TO SELF; NEXT TIME GOOGLE IT LOL)

Happy birthday Kuks! If you’re reading this I hope you enjoyed this birthday to the fullest. We love you so very much!!

Now, on the complete opposite side of the party spectrum I recently had a some girlfriends over for a “ladies night in” and it was a perfect chance for me to release my suppressed inner little girl. Being that I was blessed with an awesome boy instead of a girl, my life consist of dinosaurs and blue jeans and as much as I love singing the dinosaur a-z song with my son over and over… and over a part of me has always yearned for pretty pastel dresses and tea parties .
So what is my adult version of a cutesy little girl party?...... pajamas and champagne of course!
I invited my girlfriends over and insisted they all wear pjs , we played games and I even turned old spaghetti sauce jars I’d been hoarding since Christmas into party favors
{ I wish I would of took more photos but sometimes fun takes over my intent to blog , lol}
1. Mimosa bar 2. Pretty pastels 3. Chocolate mustaches = happy ladies
