Let me start by saying that although I live in east coast, where I live in particular we rarely get snow.
We’ve literally had 2 snow “storms” hit our area within the last 2 weeks. So besides having time off work (which is always a plus) I had an opportunity to take some photos in the snow.
The city was preparing for more snow inches than it could handle, so in turn we prepared too.
Other than the mom essentials (lol) we were ready to for our staycation. As the snow fell through the night we were all wondering how much we’d wake up to. In some areas we almost hit a foot snow ( I know , I know some of you might live in place that consider a foot of snow a mild winter, but that is huge for us lol) Nothing compares to waking up to an ordinary condo complex turned majestic winter wonderland.
...but he was warm and had fun, and thats all that matters |
My son and husband had such a fun time playing in the snow, it was just so cute seeing a kids excitement and a grown kid too. the funniest part to me was the slight temper tantrum my son had once we were all ready to come in. He had a legit cross the arms and sit down in the snow, I’m not getting up moment , but I quickly realized that a warm cup of hot coco fixes everything (lol)
Here are a few shots from Wednesday and Thursday snow day fun w/ daddy…
Just by looking at the photos you can see the difference in temperature between day one and day two.

Happy Friday everyone! As for me I’m back at work with a possibility of working on the weekend to catch up on missed work form the snow days ( working mom problems lol) while both my son and husband are enjoying yet another day off.
thanks for stoping by,
