Maternity : Hart Family

Every time I am around an expectant mother I can’t help but be enveloped in their glow…

I recently had the delightful pleasure of shooting the Hart family for a maternity / family portrait session. These three or should I say four made my job so easy. This growing family is so lovable and charismatic  and hello, unbelievably photogenic!

We meet at scenic nature trail  with lovely views that range from water to woods and the weather helped set the perfect back drop.  

I had so much fun getting to know the Hart Family. The couples 3 year old was a ball of energy ( just like mine) and a little model in training. This cutie can nail any expression or pose  you ask of him, but is favorite pose is kissing his mommy.  He is the couples pride and joy. Fittingly so being their first born, but he is most excited of becoming a big brother.  

… But the only ones to trump anyone with excitement for their newest addition are the doting parents. These two are so sweet and tender. The devotion for their family is so evident between the both of them.  They are just so thrilled to now be expanding their beautiful family by one, and in true style baby # 2 is due on new year’s eve. What better way to start a new year than with a new addition.

We are all excited to meet Baby Hart this holiday season but in the mean time please enjoy this Fall Family Session

Maternity: Johnson Family

First things first, I must say becoming a mother whether it is for the first time or the third time doesn’t compare to any other feeling in this world!

I was so thrilled to shoot this Family, even more so when I learned Lorin was pregnant.  Lorin is due any day now so we had to act fast in order to capture the “belly” before the newest addition to their wonderful family arrives.

It’s hurricane season here in Hampton roads so although we usually escape the really dreadful storms , the weather can be super unpredictable; This past Saturday was no exception.  We hoped for beautiful skies and a striking sunset, what we got was grey drizzle and extreme humidity. None the less our Momma-to-be was incomparable. Lorin was absolutely glowing and embracing every last bit of her pregnancy before princess #3 arrives.

It was such a pleasure to work with Lorin and her family. This doting father-to-be couldn’t be more proud of his gorgeous wife and his two other little beauties, who by the way, are the sweetest most well-dressed young women ever. 

I could not be happier or more excited for this family and am excited to meet the new baby. May your Labor and delivery be healthy, smooth and quick! And may the Lord continue to bless your union and growing family.
