Maternity : Hart Family

Every time I am around an expectant mother I can’t help but be enveloped in their glow…

I recently had the delightful pleasure of shooting the Hart family for a maternity / family portrait session. These three or should I say four made my job so easy. This growing family is so lovable and charismatic  and hello, unbelievably photogenic!

We meet at scenic nature trail  with lovely views that range from water to woods and the weather helped set the perfect back drop.

I had so much fun getting to know the Hart Family. The couples 3 year old was a ball of energy ( just like mine) and a little model in training. This cutie can nail any expression or pose  you ask of him, but is favorite pose is kissing his mommy.  He is the couples pride and joy. Fittingly so being their first born, but he is most excited of becoming a big brother.

… But the only ones to trump anyone with excitement for their newest addition are the doting parents. These two are so sweet and tender. The devotion for their family is so evident between the both of them.  They are just so thrilled to now be expanding their beautiful family by one, and in true style baby # 2 is due on new year’s eve. What better way to start a new year than with a new addition.

We are all excited to meet Baby Hart this holiday season but in the mean time please enjoy this Fall Family Session

Here is the beautiful & growing   Hart Family

Thank you guys for allowing me to be a small part of your love story. I had a blast capturing these moments for you.  I wish you all bountiful blessing and joy in the new year and always.

Weddings: Tom & Colette

Let me just say … I honestly love weddings!!!
This lovely wedding was extra special to me because it just happened to be the nuptials of my son’s teacher since the age of 6 months.
I was so delighted when I got word Colette ( the Bride) was getting married. She is an amazing and caring teacher and equally amazing woman so I knew her groom had it the jackpot.

This wedding was packed with it's poignant moments, from the couples’ closest and dearest friends serenaded them and their guest during the ceremony to the oh so memorable garter toss and can't forget the groom and friends Redskin's chants during the toasts.  But seeing the bride so emotional moments before her walk down the aisle had to be by far my favorite moment of the evening.

Introducing Tom  & Colette

I had a ball getting to meet Colette’s family and newly formed family
I loved getting to capture sweet moments between the bride and her mother and the bride and her gorgeous daughters. These ladies are all incredible and my favorite thing about them is the love for laughter they all have.  I knew I loved this family once the jokes starting flowing.

Here are a few of my favorite moments from this beautiful wedding...

The atmosphere at the reception was filled with love and joy, a great time was had by all the guests and I was just elated to be a small part of Tom and Colette’s big day!!

Congratulations Tom & Colette! I wish you infinite years of a blessed union  & Thank you for allowing me to witness your celebration of love!

Lifestyle: 3 Generations {Part 1}

I had the pleasure of shooting 3 generations over the weekend. I love when I am able to convey emotions through my photography, and this family portrait session oozed emotions.

Allow me to introduce you to the Castillo Family

When I arrived at Raul and Veronica’s home I immediately felt as if I was home. I was greeted with the warmest welcome by both Raul and Veronica, Raul’s lovely parents, and not to mention, little Claudia the couples one year old daughter.

Our first order of business was to take photos with the grandparents. Since it was a typical summer day here (in the high 90s) we opted to take photos indoors at the Castillo’s home.

One of the first shots of the day was this beautiful moment of Claudia gazing up at her grandmother. I am so in love with this shot. I was able to capture the love through generations.

This little princess is the center of their universe, and rightfully so, look at those doll eyes.

The three most important women in Raul's life.

... and the two most imporant men in Claudia's Life.

After we wrapped up at the Castillo’s home we headed out to the beach, sans the grandparents. Stay tuned for part two of our beach adventure…
